Engine, Supporting In Installation Position

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Square Pipe with Two Bolts (quantity: 1) from the Engine Support Bridge:10-222A 
• Engine Support Bridge - Spindle:10-222A/11  or Engine Support - Bracket w/Spindle and hook:10-222A/10  from the Engine Support Bridge:10-222A  (quantity: 2)
• Engine Support - Basic Set:T40091 
• Valve Cotter Tool Kit - Adapter:T40091/1 
• Engine Support - Basic Set - Adapter:T40091/3 
• Engine Support - Supplement Kit - Adapter:T40091/3 
• Engine Support Brackets:T40093/3-6 

-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Free up the hose -2- from the EVAP canister.

-- Release the retainers with a screwdriver in direction of -arrow- and move the coolant expansion tank to the side.

-- Position the :T40093/3-6  on both sides on the longitudinal member.

-- The bolts -A- must be positioned behind the edge -arrow-.

-- Position the :10-222A  , as shown.

-- Slightly pretension the engine/transmission assembly with the spindle, do not lift.
