Rear Seat Backrest Cover And Cushion, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the rear seat. Refer to BENCH SEAT/SINGLE SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the rear headrest. Refer to HEADREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the locking mechanism trim. Refer to LOCKING MECHANISM TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, PASS-THROUGH .

-- Remove the rear center seat belt guide. Refer to OVERVIEW - REAR CENTER THREE-POINT SEAT BELT .

-- Remove the rear center belt end fitting. Refer to REAR CENTER BELT END FITTING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the seat trim panels. Refer to SEAT TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Detach the gap cover expanding rivet (quantity: 2) on the backrest cover on the bottom of the seat pan.

-- If equipped, disconnect the electrical connection for the backrest heating element.

-- Using a screwdriver, pry out the backrest cover clamping strip -2- from all around the backrest frame -3-.

-- Guide the backrest cover with the backrest cushion out at the headrest guides and remove toward the front.
