Bumper Cover, Removing And Installing: Removing

For Convertible Only 

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION, CONVERTIBLE .

For all Vehicles 

-- Remove the front trim. Refer to FRONT TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts for the front wheel housing liner -3- from the front bumper cover -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -4- from underneath.

-- Remove the bolts -2- in the wheel housing (pointing upward) on the left and right sides.

-- Remove the bolts -5- from above.

A second technician is required for the rest of the removal procedure.

-- Pull the front bumper cover -1- out of the guides on the left and right sides of the fender in direction of -A arrows-.

-- Remove the front bumper cover -1- from the striker pin in the bracket next to the left and right headlamp.

-- Remove the front bumper cover -1- in direction of -B and C arrows- from the vehicle. A second technician is needed for this.

-- Disconnect the connectors from any electrical components.
