1. Striker
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to STRIKER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
   • Adjusting. Refer to Striker, Adjusting .
2. Operating Lever
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to LATCH RELEASE LEVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
3. Release Cable
   • From the hood release lever -2- to the release cable coupling -4-
4. Release Cable Coupling
   • The cable coupling is located above the driver side headlamp.
   • Disconnecting. Refer to RELEASE CABLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
5. Release Cable
   • From the release cable coupling -4- to the latch -6-
   • Clipped into the cable coupling
6. Latch
   • Latch, Removing and Installing. Refer to LATCH, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
   • Adjusting. Refer to Latch, Adjusting .

1. Mounting Bracket
2. Release Cable
   • Installing:

     -- Install the ball on the end of the release cable into the retainer on the mounting bracket.

     -- Clip the release cable into the mounting bracket.

3. Expanding Nut
   • Quantity: 2
4. Bolt
   • 1.5 Nm
   • Quantity: 2
5. Operating Lever
   • Removing and Installing. Refer to LATCH RELEASE LEVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
