Left/Right Daytime Running Lamp Bulb -L174- / -L175-

The Left Daytime Running Lamp Bulb -L174- and Right Daytime Running Lamp Bulb -L175- serve also as the Left Side Marker Lamp Bulb -M1- and Right Side Marker Lamp Bulb -M3-.

NOTE:

The illustrations show how to replace the Left Daytime Running Lamp Bulb -L174-.

Replacing the Right Daytime Running Lamp Bulb -L175- is identical.

Removal

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.

-- Remove the headlamp, refer to HEADLAMP .

-- Turn the cap -2- on the headlamp -1- in direction of the -arrow- and remove it.

-- Remove the bulb socket -2- from the reflector in the direction of the -arrow- together with the Left Daytime Running Lamp Bulb -L174-.

-- Remove the Left Daytime Running Lamp Bulb -L174- -2- from the bulb socket -1- in the direction of the -arrow-.

Bulb: Glass base bulb 12 V/5 W

Installation

CAUTION:

Do not touch the glass of the bulb during installation. Fingers will leave traces of grease on the glass which, when the light is switched on, will evaporate and cloud the glass.
During installation, ensure proper seating of the cap. Water getting in the headlamp will cause damage.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Install the headlamp, refer to HEADLAMP .

-- Check headlamp for functions.
