Coolant Thermostat: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE:

Replace O-ring after removing.

-- Clean and smooth the O-ring sealing surface.

-- Coat the new O-ring with coolant.

-- Place the coolant thermostat -2- in the coolant thermostat housing.

The retaining tabs must engage in the guides -arrows-.

-- Fill the coolant, refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .
