Overview - Exhaust Temperature Regulation, Vehicles Without SCR System

CAUTION:
There is a risk of malfunctions from loose exhaust gas temperature sensor.
- The exhaust gas temperature sensor threads -G495- and -G648- are coated. Do NOT coat with hot bolt paste and make sure to tighten to the tightening specification.
- Oxygen Sensor after Three Way Catalytic Converter -G130- with Heater for Oxygen Sensor 1 after Catalytic Converter -Z29-
- Removing and installing, refer to OXYGEN SENSOR AFTER THREE WAY CATALYTIC CONVERTER -G130- .
- Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 4 -G648-
- 60 Nm
- if equipped depends on the depending on the exhaust gas standard
- Removing and installing, refer to EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR 3 -G495- /EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR 4 -G648- .
- The exhaust gas temperature sensor thread is coated and cannot be coated with hot bolt paste.
- Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 1 -G235-
- 45 Nm
- Removing and installing, refer to EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR 1 -G235- .
- Coat the with hot bolt paste.
- Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 2 -G448-
- 60 Nm
- The exhaust gas temperature sensor thread is coated and cannot be coated with hot bolt paste.
- Removing and installing, refer to EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR 2 -G448- .

- Tightening specification, refer to -item 5- in OVERVIEW - HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR, VEHICLES WITHOUT SCR SYSTEM
- Differential Pressure Sensor -G505-

- Removing and installing, refer to DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR -G505- .

- Exhaust Pressure Sensor 1 -G450-
- Removing and installing, refer to EXHAUST PRESSURE SENSOR 1 -G450- .
- Bolt
- Tightening specification, refer to -item 9- in OVERVIEW - HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR, VEHICLES WITHOUT SCR SYSTEM
- Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 -G495-
- 60 Nm
- if equipped depends on the depending on the exhaust gas standard
- Removing and installing, refer to EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR 3 -G495- /EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR 4 -G648- .
