Clutch Slave Cylinder: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Grease the clutch slave cylinder plunger head with Grease for Clutch Plate Splines G 000 100.

-- Install the clutch slave cylinder and tighten the bolts -arrows B- to specification, refer to Tightening Specifications .

-- Attach the hose/line assembly to the clutch slave cylinder.

-- Push the hose/line assembly clip all the way in.

-- Pull on the hose/line assembly to make sure it is secure.

-- Install the transmission support and bolts -arrows A-, refer to Tightening Specifications .

-- Bleed the clutch system after installing the clutch slave cylinder, refer to CLUTCH SYSTEM, BLEEDING .

Assemble the shift mechanism, refer to SHIFT CABLE AND SELECTOR CABLE OVERVIEW .

Adjust the shift mechanism., refer to SHIFT MECHANISM, ADJUSTING .

-- Install the air filter housing, refer to [For engine(s) CCTA, CBFA] Removal and Installation [For engine(s) CBUA] Removal and Installation [For engine(s) CPRA, CPKA, CPLA, CPPA] Removal and Installation

-- Connect the battery ground cable, refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
