Fuel Pressure Sensor -G247-: Installing

NOTE:

Refer to INSTALLING Check for damage to the sealing surfaces and threads on the Fuel Pressure Sensor -G247-. If the Fuel Pressure Sensor -G247- is OK, is it possible to re-use it.

Check the sealing surface on the high pressure reservoir opening.

Coat the Fuel Pressure Sensor -G247- threads and biting edge with diesel fuel.

-- Tighten the Fuel Pressure Sensor -G247- by hand.

-- Then tighten the Fuel Pressure Sensor -G247- to specification.

-- Fill/bleed the fuel system, refer to FUEL SYSTEM, FILLING/BLEEDING .

-- Install the engine cover, refer to ENGINE COVER .

Tightening specification, refer to OVERVIEW - HIGH PRESSURE RESERVOIR (RAIL) .
