Heating And A/C Unit Components

  1. Screw
    • Securing screws for the coolant lines -25-
    • Slightly move the coolant lines by loosening the screws.
    • Tightening specification 2 Nm
  2. Bracket
    • Bracket for coolant pipes
    • Included with coolant pipe replacement part
  3. Heater Core
  4. Heater and A/C Unit
  5. Cover and Bracket For Recirculation Door Motor -V113-
  6. Recirculation Door Motor -V113-
  7. Foam Seal
    • Fresh air intake seal to the body
  8. Bolts
    • Air intake duct bolts to the heater and A/C unit
  9. Air Intake Housing with Fresh Air/Air Recirculation Door
    • cannot be disassembled
  10. Fresh Air Blower Series Resistor with Fuse -N24-
  11. Fresh Air Blower -V2-
  12. Cover/Insulation
    • Front passenger footwell
  13. Screw Clips
    • Quantity: 2
  14. Wiring Harness
    • There are different versions (for example, with or without connection to Auxiliary Air Heater Control Module -J604-).
    • Mark the allocation before disconnecting the connectors (identical connectors for different components)
    • Secure the wiring harness to the mounting points provided on the housing (using cable ties or on mounts) so that it does not come into contact with moving components.
  15. Screw
    • Quantity: 4
    • Holds the front and rear section of the display control head together
    • Tightening specification 1.5 Nm
  16. Display Control Head Front Section (Heater Control Module -J65-)
    • Two-piece version
    • Rear heat controls. See -item 17- in Fig 1.
    • With Fresh Air Blower Switch -E9-
    • With Fresh Air/Recirculation Door Switch -E159-
    • Also with Immediate Heating Button -E537- in vehicles with auxiliary heater
    • Depending on the vehicle equipment level, with Seat Heating/Ventilation Adjuster -E399-
    • Removing and Installing. Refer to DISPLAY CONTROL HEAD, FRONT SECTION .

  21. Cover for Coolant Pipes and Heater Core
    • The illustration shows the version for vehicles with Auxiliary Heater Heating Element -Z35-.
    • There are different versions for vehicles with or without Auxiliary Heater Heating Element -Z35- (the opening for the Auxiliary Heater Heating Element -Z35- is closed by this cover on vehicles without an Auxiliary Heater Heating Element -Z35-).
  22. Screw
    • Tightening specification 2 Nm
  23. Sealing Rings
    • Quantity: 2
    • Between the coolant lines and the heater core
    • Always replace
    • Pay attention to different versions
    • Lubricate lightly with coolant before installation
  24. Clamps
    • Quantity: 2
    • Ensure firm attachment
    • On vehicles with a heater and A/C system installed
    • Tightening specification 2 Nm
  25. Coolant Lines
    • Supply and return with bracket -2-, replaceable part
  26. Seal
    • Seal between the bulkhead and the heater and A/C unit
