Flexible Air Distribution Shaft, Checking

Checking the flexible shaft for the adjusting unit for air distribution doors:

Let the Fresh Air Blower -V2- run on the highest blower speed.
Select the "Defrost" knob setting on the display control head.
The flexible shaft is installed correctly if air is coming out of the defroster vent in the "Defrost" position and, for example, no air is coming out of the footwell vents.
If this is not the case, disconnect the flexible shaft from the display control head again. Position the display control head front section onto the rear section and turn the air distribution knob ¹ /₂ turn (180°). Insert the flexible shaft and check again.
