Upper Toothed Belt Guard: Removing

-- Observe safety precautions, refer to SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .

-- Follow the guidelines for clean working conditions, refer to CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS .

-- Remove the engine cover, refer to ENGINE COVER .

-- Open the couplings -A- and -B- and remove the fuel lines. Open the couplings, refer to appropriate service information .

-- Disconnect and remove the connector for the coolant reservoir -2-.

-- Unclip the wiring harness from the coolant reservoir.

-- Remove the bolts -3- and the coolant expansion tank -2-.

-- Unclip the lines -1- and free up.

-- Lay the coolant reservoir -2- on the engine.

-- Remove the fuel filter and lay with wires connected on the engine, refer to Fuel Supply .

-- Open the heat shield boot -1-.

-- Disconnect the connector -3- and free up the wire.

-- Remove the bolt -2-.

-- Disconnect the connector -4-.

-- Release and disconnect the Reducing Agent Injector -N474- connector from the bulkhead.

-- Free up the wires.

-- Loosen the hose clamp -1-.

-- Free up the coolant line -3- and the SRC lines -2-.

-- Remove the Reducing Agent Injector -N474- and lay it to the right side.

-- Remove the bolt -3-.

-- Loosen the clamps -1- and remove the hoses.

-- Free up pipes -2-.

-- Set the pipes -2- aside.

-- Release the retainers -arrows-, and remove the upper toothed belt guard -1-.
