CAUTION:
Risk of damaging valves and piston heads after working on valve train.
- The motor must not be started for about 30 minutes after installing camshafts because the hydraulic equalization elements must seat themselves.
- To ensure valves do not strike pistons when starting, carefully rotate the crankshaft at least 2 turns.

- Removing: With the camshaft housing installed, pierce through one side of the cover with an awl and pry it out.
- Installing: Drive in without sealant until it is flush using a suitable thrust piece, such as the Torque Adapter 3390

- Camshaft AdjusterCAUTION: Between the camshaft adjuster and camshaft stub there is a friction disc -item 20- installed for connection security. Before installing it must be checked that this friction disc is in the camshaft position. Otherwise the camshaft adjuster can become loose during engine running and damage the engine.
