Camshaft Housing: Removing

• Cylinder head installed.

-- Remove the toothed belt from the camshaft, refer to TOOTHED BELT, REMOVING FROM CAMSHAFT .

-- Remove the cylinder head cover, refer to CYLINDER HEAD COVER .

-- Remove the high pressure reservoir (Rail), refer to HIGH PRESSURE RESERVOIR (RAIL) .

-- Remove the left coolant pipes, refer to LEFT COOLANT PIPES .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and press the fuel lines forward.

-- Disconnect the connector -2- for the Camshaft Position Sensor - G40-.

-- Disconnect the connector -2-.

-- Remove the bolt -1- with the Socket Bit XZN 10 T10501 and loosen the bolt -2-.

-- Loosen the bolt -1- and remove the screw-type clamp.

-- Loosen the bolts -2-, and remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Push the catalytic converter with the particulate filter slightly rearward.

-- Loosen the camshaft housing bolts in the following sequence: -18 to 1-.

-- Remove the bolts and carefully remove the camshaft housing from the bonding and remove.
