Auxiliary Fuel Pump -V393- Or Fuel Pump 2 -V277- Inline Electric Fuel Pump, Removing And Installing, Engine Code CJAA: Removing

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

-- Release and disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Remove the bolt -2-.

-- Move the bracket in direction of -arrow-.

-- Remove the bracket with the sensor and move them to the side.

-- Unlock and disconnect the connector -A-.

-- Unclip the fuel hoses -B- from the retainer.

-- Remove the fuel hose from the fuel filter at the connection -5-. Refer to OVERVIEW - FUEL FILTER UPPER SECTION, ENGINE CODE CJAA .

-- Open the clamp to do this.

-- Unlock and disconnect the connector from the Fuel Temperature Sensor -G81- -arrow-.

-- Loosen the clamp -1- and remove the hose.

WARNING: The fuel supply line is under pressure. Wear protective eyewear and protective clothing in order to avoid injury and contact with the skin. Wrap a cloth around the connection before loosening hose connections. Remove the hose connection carefully to release the pressure.

-- Remove the fuel supply line -arrow- from the high pressure pump.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.
