Brake Carrier, Drum Brake: Removing

-- Loosen the wheel bolts.
-- Raise the vehicle.
-- Remove the wheel.
-- Reset brake. Refer to REAR DRUM BRAKE, RESETTING .
-- Remove brake drum. Refer to BRAKE DRUM .
-- Remove the wheel bearing unit. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
-- Remove the brake shoes. Refer to BRAKE DRUM .
-- Remove the brake cylinder. Refer to BRAKE CYLINDER .
-- Remove the threaded connections -arrows-.
-- Remove the brake carrier -1- with the stub axle from the axle beam.
Cleaning:

Do not blow brake system using compressed air, the dust produced is harmful to health!
Use only appropriate solvents for cleaning brake system.
