Exhaust Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 -N318-
Seals
- To replace the cover must be removed.
Upper Timing Chain Cover
- Removing and Installing. Refer to UPPER TIMING CHAIN COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Seal
- Replace if damaged
Cap
- An extension can be installed between the cap and the cover
Bolt
- 9 Nm
- Tightening sequence
Seal
- Replace if damaged
O-Ring
- Always replace
- Coat with engine oil
Not Installed
Engine
Alignment Pin
- Centering the cover
Lower Timing Chain Cover
- With shaft seal
- Replacing. Refer to LOWER TIMING CHAIN COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Shaft Seal
- For the vibration damper
- Replacing. Refer to VIBRATION DAMPER SEAL, REPLACING .
Plugs
- Always replace
Bolt
- Always replace
- Tightening sequence. Refer to Installing - Position the cover immediately and tighten the bolts in the sequence shown. .
O-Ring
- Always replace
- Coat with oil before assembly
Oil Dipstick Tube
Bolt
- 9 Nm
