Shift Forks Overview

  1. Selector Shaft with Selector Fork, for 1st and 2nd Gear
  2. Bushing
    • For the selector shaft with selector fork.
    • Removing and installing from the transmission housing. Refer to TRANSMISSION HOUSING .
    • Removing and installing from the clutch housing. Refer to CLUTCH HOUSING .
  3. Insulation
    • Installed position, refer to Fig 2.
  4. Selector Shaft with Selector Fork, for 3rd and 4th Gear
  5. Selector Shaft with Selector Fork, for 5th and 6th Gear.
  6. O-ring
    • Installed in some transmissions.
    • Discontinued shortly after the start of production.
  7. Bracket
    • for the reverse gear selector shaft with selector fork.
  8. Mounting Pin
  9. Spring Pin
    • Always replace
    • Remove and install using a drift.
  10. Selector Fork, Reverse Gear

The recesses -arrows- point away from the shift fork.
