Transmission Fluid Pump, Removing And Installing: Installing

-- Install the transmission fluid pump input shaft -A- all the way into the transmission. Turn the input shaft while doing this.

-- Always use a new metal seal -B-.

NOTE:

When positioning the transmission fluid pump, pay attention to the drive axle splines -A- and the correct seating on the alignment pins -C-.

-- Place the transmission fluid pump on the input shaft and tighten. Refer to Tightening Specification and Sequence for Transmission Fluid Pump .

-- Install the transmission fluid pump cover. Refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID PUMP COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
