Seal Between Bevel Box And Manual Transmission, Replacing

Puller - Crankshaft/Power Steering Seal:T20143
Seal Installer - Bevel Box:T10298
Sealing Grease

-- Remove the bevel box. Refer to BEVEL BOX, REMOVING .

-- Pry out the seal using the :T20143/1 or :T20143/2 .

-- Fill the space between the sealing lip and dust lip -arrow- halfway with Sealing Grease.

-- Lightly oil the new gasket on the outer edge.

-- Install the seal all the way.

-- Install the bevel box. Refer to BEVEL BOX, INSTALLING .

-- Check the level of the axle oil inside the bevel box. Refer to BEVEL BOX GEAR OIL LEVEL, CHECKING .

-- Check transmission fluid level inside the manual transmission. Refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID LEVEL, CHECKING .
