Transmission Fluid, Draining

Transmission Fluid.

-- Remove the entire air filter housing if it is located above the locking bolt for the selector shaft.

Vehicles With Turbo Diesel Engine 

-- Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [FOR ENGINE(S) CRUA] .

Vehicles With Gasoline Engine 

-- Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [FOR ENGINE(S) CNSB, CNSA, CXBB, CXBA, CXCB, CXCA] .

Continuation For All 

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .

Clean The Transmission.

Use a clean container that holds 3 liters with a scale printed on it to catch the transmission fluid.

-- Drain the transmission fluid, by removing the fluid drain plug -arrow-.

-- Install the oil drain plug. Refer to FLUID FILLER OR DRAIN PLUG TIGHTENING SPECIFICATION .
