Clutch Slave Cylinder, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Install the clutch slave cylinder and tighten the bolts -arrows- to the tightening specification.

-- Insert the hose/line assembly or plastic hose -B- until it stops in the clutch slave cylinder.

-- Push in the clip -A- for attaching the hose/line assembly or plastic hose until it stops.

-- Pull on the hose/line assembly or plastic line to make sure it is secure.

-- Push in the hose/line assembly or plastic hose until it stops in the mount -C- on the transmission.

-- Bleed the clutch mechanism after installing the clutch slave cylinder. Refer to CLUTCH MECHANISM, BLEEDING .

Assemble the gearshift mechanism. Refer to SELECTOR MECHANISM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Adjust the gearshift mechanism. Refer to SELECTOR MECHANISM, ADJUSTING .

-- Install the air filter housing if it was removed earlier. Refer to AIR FILTER (CNLA, CRJA) , AIR FILTER (CZCA, CZDA, CZTA) , AIR FILTER (CBPA, CKJA) and AIR FILTER (CPLA, CPPA, CPKA, CPRA) .

-- Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to BATTERY .
