Overview - Fuel Injectors: Notes

- Seal
- Replace after removing. Refer to FUEL INJECTOR SEALS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- In the cylinder head cover
- Copper Washer
- Replace after removing.
- O-ring
- Replace after removing.
- Fuel Injector
- Fuel injectors and high pressure lines which have been removed and are being re-installed may only be installed back into the same cylinder.
- Removing and installing. Refer to FUEL INJECTORS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- O-ring
- Replace after removing.
- Fuel Return Line
- To the fuel tank
- Must not be bent, damaged or plugged
- Do not disassemble
- Bleeding and filling the fuel system after exchanging. Refer to FUEL SYSTEM, FILLING/BLEEDING .
- Tensioning Claw
- Installation position. Refer to Installed Position Of The Tensioning Claw .
- Bolt
- 8 Nm + 270°
- Replace after removing.
- High Pressure Line
- 28 Nm
- Between the high pressure reservoir and the fuel injectors
- Read and follow all instructions on installing the high pressure lines. Refer to HIGH PRESSURE LINE, INSTALLING .
- Install without tension
- Secure the balance weight. Refer to Balance Weight For High Pressure Lines .
- Grommet
- Replace if damaged
- In the cylinder head cover
