1. Bolt
   • Replace after removing
   • For attaching the DSG Transmission Mechatronic -J743- to the transmission housing
   • Tightening specification and sequence. Refer to Fig 3
   • Quantity: 3, M8 x 35
2. Bolt
   • Replace after removing
   • For attaching the DSG Transmission Mechatronic -J743- to the transmission housing
   • Tightening specification and sequence. Refer to Fig 3
   • Quantity: 4, M8 x 90
3. O-Ring
   • Replace if damaged
   • Identification: Color: green Fig 1
   • Only available with hydraulic line. Refer to the Parts information.
   • Install on the hydraulic line connection Fig 1
   • Install with hydraulic fluid
4. Clamp
   • Remove in order to remove and install the hydraulic line clamp
5. Hydraulic Line
   • Close the connections with new plugs from the Repair Kit :5C0 998 152  . Refer to the Parts information.
   • Comes with O-ring.
6. Bolt
   • 18 Nm
   • For the hydraulic line to the engine
7. Transmission
8. DSG Transmission Mechatronic -J743-
   • With valve block
   • Do not remove the valve block from the Mechatronic. Refer to Fig 2.
   • Refer to MECHATRONIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
   • Refer to MECHATRONIC, REMOVING AND INSTALLING 
   • Refer to MECHATRONIC, MOVING INTO REMOVAL POSITION BY HAND

• The O-ring -arrow- must be green. It can be used with hydraulic fluid. Do not use any other O-ring.

• Do not open the bolt -A- and bolts -B- for the valve block on the Mechatronic.
• If bolt and washer -A- is missing from new Mechatronic, transfer bolt and washer from old Mechatronic to new Mechatronic. Torque bolt -A- to 15 Nm.

-- Tighten the bolts to 8 Nm.
