Coolant Pump

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

Removing 

-- Drain the coolant. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING .

-- Remove the toothed belt. Refer to TOOTHED BELT .

-- Remove the bolts -1- from the coolant pump -2- and carefully remove the coolant pump and O-ring -3-.

Installing 

Install in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Lubricate the new O-ring -3- with coolant.

NOTE:

The sealing plug on the coolant pump faces downward.

-- Insert the coolant pump -2- in the cylinder block and tighten the bolts -1-.

-- Install the toothed belt. Refer to TOOTHED BELT .

-- Fill with coolant. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING .
