Clutch System Component Overviews: Hydraulics

- Brake Fluid Reservoir
- Seal
- The seals must be inside the supply hose.
- Supply Hose
- Master Cylinder
- Removing and installing, refer to MASTER CYLINDER .
- Circlip
- To remove and install the line, pull the clip out to the stop.
- Seal/O-ring
- Installed on the line connection.
- Install using brake fluid.
- Seal/O-ring design, refer to Fig 2.
- Mounting
- To remove and install, disconnect the master cylinder from the clutch pedal. Refer to CLUTCH PEDAL .
- Clutch Pedal
- Removing and installing, refer to CLUTCH PEDAL .
- Nut, Self Locking
- See -item 15- in CLUTCH PEDAL .
- Pipe
- To remove the pipe, the battery and battery tray need to be removed. Refer to Removal and Installation .
- Clip
- Attached to the body.
- Seal/O-ring
- Installed on the line connection.
- Install using brake fluid.
- Seal/O-ring design, refer to Fig 2.
- Breather Assembly
- Seal/O-ring
- Installed on the line connection.
- Install using brake fluid.
- Seal/O-ring design, refer to Fig 2.
- Circlip
- To remove and install the line and the breather, pull the clip out to the stop.
- Vent Valve
- Clutch system, bleeding. Refer to CLUTCH SYSTEM, BLEEDING .
- Cap
- Clutch Slave Cylinder
- The gasket can only be replaced when the transmission is removed.
- Removing and installing, refer to CLUTCH RELEASE MECHANISM OVERVIEW .
- Transmission

- The seal/O-ring must be installed in the groove -arrows 1 and 3-.
