Engines: BBW, BEV And BHP

NOTE: Coolant hose connection diagram for engines BBW, BEV and BHP. See Engines: AVH, AZG, BBW, BEV And BHP .
NOTE: The following list refers to items in Fig 1.
  1. To top of expansion tank
  2. O-ring
    • Replace if damaged
  3. Quick release coupling
    • Connection heater heat exchanger
  4. Connector
    • 4-pin
    • Wiring chamber 3 and wiring chamber 4 for Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor -G62-
    • Gold plated contacts for ECT -G62-
  5. Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor -G62-
    • For engine control module
    • With Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor -G2-
    • Gold plated contacts for Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor -G62-
    • Release pressure in coolant system if necessary, before removing components
  6. Retaining clip
    • Check seated securely
  7. Coolant pipe
  8. From ATF radiator (automatic transmission) or shape hose
  9. 10 Nm
  10. To bottom of expansion tank
  11. O-ring
    • Always replace
  12. Union
  13. To top of radiator
  14. From bottom of radiator
  15. Oil cooler
  16. 15 Nm
  17. Coolant thermostat
  18. Toothed belt
  19. Coolant pump
  20. Rear toothed belt guard
  21. 20 Nm
  22. Washer
    • Note part number
  23. Throttle valve control module
    • Heated by coolant
