Engines: AEG (up To Model Year 1999), APK And AQY

NOTE: The following list refers to items in Fig 1.
  1. Upper coolant pipe
    • Clipped onto bulkhead
  2. To heat exchanger
  3. Connector
    • 4-pin
    • Wiring chamber 3 and wiring chamber 4 for Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor -G62-
    • Gold plated contacts for Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor -G62-
  4. Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor -G62-
    • For engine control module
    • With Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor -G2-
    • Gold plated contacts for Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor -G62-
    • Release pressure in coolant system if necessary before removing components
  5. Retaining clip
    • Check seated securely
  6. From heat exchanger
  7. Coolant pipe
  8. 10 Nm
  9. To bottom of expansion tank
  10. O-ring
    • Always replace
  11. Union
  12. To top of radiator
  13. From bottom of radiator
  14. Oil cooler
  15. 15 Nm
  16. Coolant thermostat
  17. Tooted belt
  18. Coolant pump
  19. Rear toothed belt guard
  20. 20 Nm
  21. Throttle valve control module
    • Heated by coolant
  22. O-ring
    • Replace if damaged
  23. On top of expansion tank
