Short Description

The cover seals the transmission toward the outside. It is held in place by a circlip. After the circlip has been removed, the cover can be pried out of its seating. The cover and circlip must always be replaced. Never install a cover using a hammer. Do not lubricate the center seal and do not touch it with bare hands or the cover will leak.

-- Remove the overflow tube.

-- Drain the oil

-- Reinstall the overflow tube and tighten by hand, tightening specification: 3 Nm.
