Selector Shaft Lever Seal

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

-- Remove the selector lever cable from transmission. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER CABLE .

-- Remove the selector lever cable nut -arrow-.

-- Carefully pry the lever -A- off from the selector shaft.

-- Pry out the seal using the T20143.

-- Lightly lubricate the outer circumference of the new seal.

-- Fill half of the volume between the sealing lip and dust lip with sealing grease G 052 128.

-- Drive in the new seal until seated; be sure not to distort the seal.

-- Install the lever and nut. Tighten the nut to 20 Nm.

Selector shaft lever fits onto the splines only in one position.

-- Install the selector lever cable onto the transmission and adjust. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER CABLE .
