Radiator And Fan Overview

- Upper Coolant Hose
- From the coolant thermostat housing to the cylinder head.
- O-ring
- Replace if damaged.
- Radiator
- Removing and installing, refer to RADIATOR .
- After replacing, replace the entire amount of coolant.
- Gasket
- Cap
- Check using the cooling system testerV.A.G 1274 B and the adapterV.A.G 1274/9. Refer to CHECKING THE PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE IN THE CAP .
- The pressure relief valve must open at 1.4 to 1.6 bar.

- Perform a leak test on the cooling system using the cooling system testerV.A.G 1274 B and the adapterV.A.G 1274/8. Refer to COOLING SYSTEM, CHECKING FOR LEAKS .
- Bracket

- For the refrigerant line bracket.
- Support
- Insert in the lock carrier.
- Nut

- Fan Shroud
- Bolt
- 5 Nm
- Coolant Fan 2 -V177-
- Removing and installing, refer to FAN SHROUD AND FAN .
- Connector
- Connector
- Coolant Fan -V7-
- Removing and installing, refer to FAN SHROUD AND FAN .
- With the coolant fan control module -J293-.
- Lower Coolant Hose
- From the connection for the coolant flange.
- Retaining Clip
- Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor on Radiator Outlet -G83-
- O-ring
- Always replace.
