Removal And Installation: Radiator

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

Removing 

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to Description and Operation .

-- Remove the front bumper. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Bring the lock carrier into the service position. Refer to Description and Operation .

-- Drain the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING .

-- Disconnect all coolant hoses from the radiator.

-- Remove the radiator fan shroud with fans. Refer to FAN SHROUD AND FANS .

-- Remove the bolts -1- from the radiator brackets.

-- Swing the radiator slightly toward the rear.

-- Remove the Air Conditioning (A/C) condenser bolts -2-.

-- Remove the side bolt -arrow- for the condenser on radiator.

-- Remove the radiator up and out.

Installing 

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal, noting the following:

NOTE:

When installing a new radiator, the old coolant must not be reused.

-- Fill the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING .
