-- Remove the output flange seal -A-.
-- Clean the locking fluid residue from the threads on the shaft bevel gear.
- The previous shim -2- for the shaft beveled gear preload -1- must be installed.
-- Place the inner race/tapered roller bearing -3- in the bevel box outer race.
-- Lightly lubricate the new output flange seal -4- with oil on the outer circumference.
-- Drive in the new seal until seated using the T10049.
-- Fill the area between sealing lip and dust lip halfway with sealing grease G 052 128 A1.
-- Pull in the output flange using a two arm puller -A-.
A - Two arm puller, for example, Kukko 20/10
-- Position the pulling hook on the underside of the drive pinion housing.
-- Lubricate the threads on the new nut with locking fluid D 000 600.
-- Tighten the new nut. Tightening specification: 675 Nm.
A - Socket SW 36 for 3/4 inch drive
-- Install the bevel box. Refer to BEVEL BOX .
-- Fill the bevel box with gear oil. Refer to BEVEL BOX OIL LEVEL, CHECKING .
