EVAP System Component Overview

- Leak Detection Pump -V144-
- Installed location: In the right rear wheel housing.
- EVAP system schematic overview. Refer to EVAP SYSTEM SCHEMATIC OVERVIEW .
- Checking the vacuum supply for the Leak Detection Pump (LDP). Refer to Leak Detection Pump -V144- VACUUM SUPPLY, CHECKING .
- Removing and installing, refer to Leak Detection Pump -V144- .
- Checking the fuel supply system for leaks. Refer to FUEL SYSTEM, CHECKING FOR LEAKS .
- Fuel system leak test. Refer to FUEL SYSTEM LEAK TEST .

- Vacuum Line
- To the vacuum pump.
- Make sure it is secure.
- Filler Tube
- Fuel tank and attachments overview. Refer to FUEL TANK AND ATTACHMENTS OVERVIEW .
- Vent Line
- Behind the right rear wheel housing liner.
- Make sure it is secure.
- To disconnect, press the release button on the connection piece.
- Connecting Line
- Behind the right rear wheel housing liner.
- Make sure it is secure.
- Bolt
- 3 Nm
- Air Filter Housing
- For the LDP.
- Vent Line
- On the underbody.
- Make sure it is secure.
- Push in the securing ring to disconnect.
- Vent Line
- To the EVAP canister purge regulator valve 1 -N80-
- Make sure it is secure.
- Push in the securing ring to disconnect.
- Spacer Sleeve
- Cover
- For the EVAP canister.
- Bolt
- 8 Nm
- EVAP Canister
- Installed location: In the bottom of the spare tire wheel well.

- Removing and installing, refer to EVAP CANISTER .
- Connecting Line
- On the underbody.
- Make sure it is secure.
- Push in the securing ring to disconnect.
- Connecting Hose
- Make sure it is secure.
- Bracket
- For the LDP.
- Bolt
- 2 Nm
