Drive pinion, removing and installing: Notes

NOTE: To remove the drive pinion the selector shaft must be removed after taking out the parking lock. Refer to Parking lock, disassembling and assembling  , disassembling and assembling parking lock.

6 - Tapered roller bearing inner race 

7 - Tapered roller bearing outer race 

8 - ATF oil deflector 

9 - Bolt, 25 Nm 

10 - Bearing cap 

11 - Shim 

12 - Parking lock gear 

13 - Bearing supporting ring 

14 - O-ring 

15 - Oil seal for drive pinion 

16 - Tapered roller bearing outer race 

17 - Tapered roller bearing inner race
