10 - Camshaft roller chain
- Mark direction of rotation before removing (installation position) Marking roller chains
- Installing, refer to Valve timing, adjusting
11 - Combi-valve
- Removing and installing, refer to Secondary air injection (AIR) system components, assembly overview
- Checking, refer to Combi-valve, checking
12 - Valve 1 for camshaft adjustment N205
- For intake camshaft
- Before disconnecting, mark allocation of connector to component
13 - Camshaft adjustment valve 1 (exhaust) N318
- For exhaust camshaft
- Before disconnecting, mark allocation of connector to component
14 - Bracket
- For wiring harness
15 - O-ring
- For oil channel seal
- Replace
- Oil before assembling
16 - Camshaft position (CMP) sensor 2 G163
- For exhaust camshaft
- Before disconnecting, mark allocation of connector to component
17 - Chain tensioner, 40 Nm
- Only rotate engine with chain tensioner installed
18 - Oil seal
- Replace if damaged or leaking
19 - Bracket
- For wiring harness and ground connection
20 - 8 Nm
21 - Oil seal
- Replace if damaged or leaking

22 - Coolant thermostat housing
- Disassembling and assembling, refer to Coolant thermostat housing, assembly overview

23 - Oil seal
- Replace
24 - Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor G40
- For intake camshaft
- Before disconnecting, mark allocation of connector to component
25 - Cover
- Can be removed and installed with engine installed
- Removing and installing, refer to Cover, assembly overview
- If only the cover has been removed, prepare cylinder head gasket for installation
26 - 60 Nm + 1 / 4 turn (90 ° )
- Replace
- Contact surface of sender wheel must be dry around bolt head when assembling
- To remove and install, counter-hold at camshaft using an open-end wrench (32 mm), refer to Camshafts, removing and installing
27 - Exhaust camshaft adjuster
- Identification: 32A
- Only rotate engine with camshaft adjuster installed
- Installing, refer to Valve timing, adjusting
28 - Guide rail
- Clipped in at control housing
29 - Intake-camshaft adjuster
- Identification: 24E
- Only rotate engine with camshaft adjuster installed
- Installing, refer to Valve timing, adjusting
30 - Cylinder head gasket
- Metal gasket
- Replace
- Prepare cylinder head gasket for installation
- After replacing replace entire amount of coolant
31 - Cylinder head
- Check for distortion Checking cylinder head for distortion under Checking cylinder head for distortion
- Removing and installing, refer to Cylinder head, removing and installing
- After replacing replace entire amount of coolant
32 - Tensioning element
- For ribbed belt
- Removing and installing ribbed belt, refer toRibbed belt, removing and installing under Ribbed belt, removing and installing
33 - Cylinder head bolt
- Replace
- Observe installation instructions and sequence when loosening and tightening, refer to Cylinder head, removing and installing
34 - Seal for cylinder head cover
- Replace if damaged or leaking
- Note installation position
