Differential, removing and installing: Notes

NOTE:
- If tapered roller bearings are to be re-used, mark the adjusting ring. See Marking adjusting ring .
- The drive pinion does not need to be removed for removing and installing the differential.

- With marking for oil level indication. See Speedometer drive .

- Install thread facing drive flange
- Remove before taking out differential
- First adjust differential before installing
- - O-ring

- If used bearings are reinstalled, mark installation position and line up on marking again when installing. See Marking adjusting ring .
- If new bearings are installed, pay attention to setting instructions. See DIFFERENTIAL, ADJUSTING .

- Before installing, pack space between sealing lips with multi-purpose grease
