Locking cable, removing and installing: Removing

Remove selector lever handle.
Remove cover with cover strip.
On vehicles with Transmission Range (TR) Program Switch -E122-, disconnect connector from Switch.
Remove center console.

Loosen cable anchor screw -a-, separate locking cable from locking lever and pull out of cable anchorage.

Remove steering wheel and trim for Ignition/Starter Switch -D-.
Press locking cable clip out of support bracket for Ignition/Starter Switch -D-, and remove locking cable from ball head.

Remove locking cable.
