Camshaft identification and timing

Identification
- Cam lobe base circle -a-: 34 mm (1.338 in.)
Identification numbers and letters are stamped between intake and exhaust cam lobes:
- Cylinder No. 1, marking at arrow I is "B"
- Cylinder No. 3, marking at arrow II is "037"
Timing at 1 mm valve stroke:
- Intake opens: 6.3° after TDC
- Intake closes: 44.5° after BDC
- Exhaust opens: 41.7° before BDC
- Exhaust closes: 3.5° before TDC
