Headlight upper securing lugs, servicing

NOTE: If headlight upper securing tabs break off due to application of excessive force, it may still be possible to service headlight in a cost-effective manner (though the headlight housing must not be damaged).

Remove headlight, refer to HEADLIGHTS (CABRIO FROM 10.98), REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Sand headlight tab socket breakage point smooth.
Place replacement securing tab -2- on securing tab socket -3- and fasten using screw -1-.

Install headlight.
Check headlight positioning and adjust if necessary, refer to HEADLIGHTS (CABRIO FROM 10.98), ADJUSTING .
