Headlights (Golf, Jetta & Cabrio to 10.98), servicing: Notes

CAUTION: Before working on the electrical system:

Obtain radio anti-theft code.
Ignition OFF!
Disconnect battery Ground (GND) strap.

NOTE:

After reconnecting battery:
- Reactivate vehicle equipment such as radio, clock and power windows as per Owner's Manual.
- Activate readiness code

After taking any measures which could affect the headlight setting, check headlight, and adjust if necessary, refer to HEADLIGHTS (CABRIO FROM 10.98), ADJUSTING .
