Drive pinion

- 12 N.m (9 ft lb)
- Remove screw before removing or installing bearing support ring -13-.
- Install with sealing compound AKD45600001
- Hex nut
- 250 N.m (184 ft lb)
- Engage parking lock to remove or install
- Secure with drift
- Output gear
- Number of teeth, see TRANSMISSION LAYOUT
- Pulling off, see Output gear, removing (pulling off)
- If signs of damage exist, always replace input gear and output gear together
- Tapered roller bearing inner race

- Tapered roller bearing outer race
- Drive out with drift
- Pressing in, see Tapered roller bearing outer race, installing (pressing in)
- ATF oil deflector
- Install together with bearing cap -10-.

- 25 N.m (18 ft lb)

- Bearing support ring
- 200 N.m (148 ft lb)
- Remove screw - 3 - before removing or installing bearing support ring.

- Bearing support ring cannot be removed until selector shaft has been removed, see PARKING LOCK, DISASSEMBLING AND ASSEMBLING
- Install bearing support ring carefully. Sealing lip and spring must not be damaged.

- O-ring
- Always replace
- Place onto bearing support ring -13-
- Oil seal for drive pinion
- Remove with screwdriver
