Seat back lock, removing and installing (Jetta)
NOTE:

- - Cover
- - Key
- - Lock cylinder
- Press out carefully, only with key inserted
- - Lock cylinder housing
- Two-piece
- Locking pin (lower part) clipped into housing (upper part)
Removing:
- Loosen cover from rear wall in area of lock. See REAR SEAT BACKREST COVER AND PADDING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (SPLIT SEAT) .
- Disconnect pull rod -1- from locking hook - 6 - and pull out.
- Pull off cover - 2 -.
- Remove Phillips-head screws - 7 -.
- - Locking hook
- - Phillips-head screw
