Windshield Defroster Duct Removal And Installation/Replacement

Mobile Repair Possible:  No

Removal Procedure: 

1. Remove Instrumental Panel Assembly. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
2. Remove Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Duct (Right Side). Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL OUTER AIR OUTLET DUCT (RIGHT SIDE) REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT 
3. Remove Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Duct (Left Side). Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL OUTER AIR OUTLET DUCT (LEFT SIDE) REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT

4. Remove 9 Screws (1).

   Torque: 3 Nm

5. Remove 3 Screws (1).

   Torque: 3 Nm

6. Lever Air Outlet (1) out of the latches (2) and remove in the direction of the arrow.

   Installation Procedure:

   Installation note: Check seals (1) for damage, replace if necessary. 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following.

   All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification! 

2. Install Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Duct (Right Side). Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL OUTER AIR OUTLET DUCT (RIGHT SIDE) REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT 
3. Install Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Duct (Left Side). Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL OUTER AIR OUTLET DUCT (LEFT SIDE) REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT 
4. Install Instrumental Panel Assembly. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
