Front Wheel Opening Molding Removal And Installation/Replacement

Removal Procedure: 

The procedure for the left-hand component is identical to that for the right-hand side. 

1. Remove 3 bolts (1).

   Torque: 2.6 Nm 

2. Remove 3 rivets (2).
3. Release 8 latches (arrows).
4. Unclip 9 clips from indicated areas and remove front wheel opening molding (1).

5. Unlock and disconnect the electrical connector (1).
6. Remove front wheel opening molding (2).

Replacement Procedure: 

1. Rebuild front side turn signal lamp. Refer to FRONT SIDE TURN SIGNAL LAMP REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT

Installation Procedure:

Installation note: Check 9 clips (1) for damage and replace if needed. Check latches as indicated, replace front wheel molding if necessary. 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following. All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification!
