Front Trunk Removal And Installation/Replacement

Mobile Repair Possible:  Van/Car

Removal Procedure: 

1. Open the hood.

2. Remove 4 expanding rivets (1).
3. Remove the frunk carpet (2).
4. Remove 4 screws (3).

   Torque: 2.6 Nm 

5. Remove 2 bolts (4).

   Torque: 6 Nm

6. Remove 3 nuts (1).

   Torque: 4 Nm

7. Pull up the front trunk at the marked points and unclip it.
8. Lift up the front trunk.

9. Unlock and disconnect the 2 electrical connectors (1).
10. Remove the front trunk.

Replacement Procedure: 

1. Rebuild hood frunk weatherstrip. Refer to HOOD FRUNK WEATHERSTRIP REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
2. Rebuild frunk emergency switch. Refer to FRUNK EMERGENCY SWITCH REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
3. Rebuild frunk LF antenna. Refer to FRUNK LF ANTENNA REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT

Installation Procedure: 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification!
