Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet (Left Side) Removal And Installation/Replacement

Mobile Repair Possible:  Van/Car

Removal Procedure: 

1. Remove Instrument Panel Outer Trim on driver side. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL OUTER TRIM COVER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
2. Remove instrument panel trim plate applique. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL TRIM PLATE APPLIQUE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT (DRIVER)

3. Remove 2 Screw (1).

   Torque: 2 Nm

4. Clip out the instrument panel knee bolster (1) with a suitable plastic wedge out the brackets (2) in the direction of the arrow and pull it gently away from the instrument panel.

5. Loosen and remove the Air Outlet (1) at the latches (arrows) with a suitable plastic wedge and remove it.

Installation Procedure: 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following

   All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification! 

2. Install instrument panel trim plate applique. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL TRIM PLATE APPLIQUE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT (DRIVER)
3. Install instrument panel outer trim on driver side. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL OUTER TRIM COVER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
