Instrument Panel LTE Antenna Removal And Installation/Replacement

Mobile Repair Possible:  No

Removal Procedure: 

1. Disconnect the 12V Battery negative terminal. Refer to 12V BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION
2. Remove the front center speaker. Refer to FRONT CENTER SPEAKER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
3. Remove windshield defroster duct. Refer to WINDSHIELD DEFROSTER DUCT REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT

4. Remove 2 screws (1).

   Torque: 2 Nm

5. Unclip the cable set for the LTE antenna from the instrument panel at the 3 indicated points (1).
6. Remove LTE-antenna (2) from the instrument panel.

Installation Procedure: 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following.

   All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification! 

2. Install windshield defroster duct. Refer to WINDSHIELD DEFROSTER DUCT REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
3. Install front center speaker. Refer to FRONT CENTER SPEAKER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
4. Reconnect 12V Battery negative terminal. Refer to 12V BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION
5. Diagnostics, Programming and Setup. Refer to DIAGNOSTICS, PROGRAMMING AND SETUP USING SCAN TOOL IN SERVICE
