Windshield Wiper Motor And Transmission Removal And Installation/Replacement

WARNING:

Crushing by moving parts
Failure to follow specified procedures may result in death or serious injury due to Windshield Wiper Motor and Transmission.
Secure the component against uncontrolled movement.
Always use personal protective equipment (PPE)
Ensure vehicle is correctly disabled/powered down to prevent unexpected motion or activation of components.

Removal Procedure:

Disconnect the 12V battery negative terminal. Refer to 12V BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION
2. Remove air inlet grille panel. Refer to AIR INLET GRILLE PANEL AND EXTENSION REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT

Unlock and disconnect electrical connector (1).
Remove 4 bolts (2).
Torque: 10 Nm

Remove windshield wiper motor and transmission (1) from the guide.

Installation Procedure:

Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following.
All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification!
Install air inlet grille panel. Refer to AIR INLET GRILLE PANEL AND EXTENSION REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
Reconnect the 12V battery negative terminal. Refer to 12V BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION
