Disassembly [03/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 DEFROSTER NOZZLE GARNISH 
    1. Apply protective tape as shown in the illustration.

    2. Using a molding remover D, detach the clips (2) and claws (1) to remove the No. 1 defroster nozzle garnish (3).
  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL PASSENGER WITHOUT DOOR AIRBAG ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Peel off the adhesive tape (1).

    2. Detach the guides (2) to remove the No. 1 heater to register duct sub-assembly (1).

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the No. 1 side.

  5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT LOWER PANEL 
    1. Loosen T20 screws (1).

    2. Detach the guides (2) to remove the instrument lower panel (3).
